Pan Fried Zucchini Recipe – a 10 minute Side Dish
I like to cook, but I don’t like to do a lot of work. This recipe is exactly what I am talking about – very simple but PACKED with flavor. We eat A LOT of veggies with our dinners… a lot, so I am always trying to fix veggie with very little effort!
This is by far the easiest side dish you can make. In 10 minutes you can have these cooked and ready to go! You will be shocked that they are only seasoned with salt and pepper, because they are packed with deliciousness.
Zucchini is about to get really cheap, so this is a very frugal dish!
Ingredients
- Zucchini
- Olive Oil
- Salt and Pepper
Instructions
- Slice the Zucchini.
- In a large skillet, drizzle olive oil. Add Slices of zucchini. Heat over medium-high heat.
- Season liberally with salt and pepper.
- Let cook for about 3 minutes until starting to brown.
- Flip them all and cook for another 3 minutes.
- That is it!
Quick Cooking tip:
Make sure you pull the zucchini off the stove before you think it is done. Zucchini continues to cook after you pull it off the stove. You don’t want mushy zucchini.
Trust me… you don’t.
