CVS Shopping trip: 5 FREE Wisks

I ran to CVS today to get my 5 free bottles of Wisk. This is how I did it:

  • Bought 5 bottles of Wisk = $25 ($5 each)
  • I used a $5/$25 CVS Coupon (Check your e-mail! I was excited to see mine!) -Always hand this coupon first.
  • I used 5 of the $2 off Wisk coupon in the 1/2 Red plum (subtract $10)
  • Total out of pocket: $10
  • Then I received $10 Extra Care Bucks! That means FREE laundry detergent!

Now, I didn’t have to spend the $10 out of pocket, because I had $9.50 in Extra care bucks to use. After applying the ECBs I had, I only paid $.50 (subtotal). I did also have to pay $1.44 in tax.

Don’t have 5 of the $2 coupons? It might be fun to join forces with some friends. Between your group of friends, you can probably get enough coupons and then you can just split the tax! There are several HOT deals at CVS this week, so I will be heading back.

Have you looked at my other recent shopping trips? You canĀ  see my most recent Homeland shopping trip here, where I only spend $30 for $200 worth of groceries!

It may be worth buying laundry soap for this price. I usually make mine as it is so much cheaper!

I didn’t check my email before going to CVS! Grrr…missed the $5/$25 coupon! Oh well, will use that for another purchase with the $15 in ECBs I got tonight! =)

Have you added an e-mail to your extra care card?

This is awesome. I need to see if I can get the cvs deal. I am running low on detergent.

There were no Wisk coupons in our area’s RedPlum!!! I checked several nearby city papers (which irritated the cashier at 7-11 apparently…) but none of them had it. I was so excited about this deal too!

K, Did you know you can actually buy some coupons online? Might be worth it.

Yep, I had to do it with that last P&G because the snow storm messed up paper delivery and made travel to the store near impossible! Thanks for mentioning (and posting the deal,) I will likely order again…this is definitely worth it!

I did half of this deal last night and I’m considering adding the mouthwash and the toothpaste to it.

    3 Reach 2-Pack Toothbrushes ($3 each) = $9
-Used 1 BOGO coupon (from paper) and 2 $1/1 printables

    1 Reach Floss = $3
    - Used 1 $2/1 Reach Floss with Whitening (from paper)

    1 Rembrandt Toothpaste = $7
    -Used $3/1 Printable

    1 Listerine Total Care = $5
    -Used $2/1 Listerine from (paper)

    Total Product ($24) – Coupons (-$12) = $12 OOP and get back $10 ECB = $2

Alternately, you could buy another toothbrush or a floss instead of the toothpaste and use another $1/1 printable. This would bring the total to $0.
    In this scenario,
    Total Product ($20) – Coupons ($10) = $10 OOP – $10 ECB’s back = $0
