Eliminate Static Cling with Foil!

how to eliminate static cling with foil

I hope you have been loving the house cleaning tips and tricks. Today we are talking about how to eliminate static cling. Oh, don’t you hate it when you want to wear your favorite dress or cardigan but it keeps “sticking” to you. Well, you don’t have to worry about that anymore. Here is a super easy trick.

Use Aluminum Foil to Eliminate Static Cling!

Yes, it is that simple. Take a piece of aluminum foil – not a very big piece, and wad it up into a ball. I used heavy duty foil, because I wanted a sturdier piece of foil, but I am sure any kind will do.

Amazon has the heavy duty foil and the regular foil all on sale right now.

You can reuse this several times. When you take your clothes out of the dryer, just toss your ball back in for the next time you need it. Mine homemade dryer balls from foil will last about a week here. Try a few times and let me know how long they last for your.

Now you really don’t need dryer sheets at all. You could use some of our homemade dryer sheets that I have talked about but these foil balls literally eliminate the static cling that we all hate.

This is a HUGE money saver. Dryer balls work great but they can be pricey, but this foil trick really does work for significantly less.
