Kimberly’s 4 Store Trip

I got this e-mail from Kimberly telling me about her trips on October 21st, and I just had to share. It is always nice to hear of another person’s success. Enjoy!

“I just want to say “Thank you”.  I have been doing this for a month and am now starting to see major savings.  I am actually anxious to prepare and go shop now- I have ALWAYS hated grocery shopping! I live within 2 miles of 2 CVS’s, 2 Walgreens, a Buy for Less, a Homeland, and 2 Wal-marts; therefore, going to each store is no problem for me if I can get a deal!

Here is a run down of my trip last week:  I spent $32.36 total (over 4 stores-Walgreens, CVS, Buy For Less, and Homeland), I saved $23.70 in coupons, I received $14 in RR or ECB’s (I also used $12 in ECB’s), and this is some of what I got…2 Capri Sun juices, chapstick, Listerine Mouth Rinse, Mucinex, Nivea shower wash, Ricola cough drops, 2 Sunny D juices, 2 bags frozen biscuits, 1 fresh pineapple, 2 bags Goldfish crackers, 2 bags of Doritos, 1 Hydro razor, 2 Mentos gum, 4 boxes Ronzini Pasta, Frozen Taquitos, Iced animal cookies, Yo-plus yogurt, Land of Frost lunch meat, Fructis Garnier Shampoo, and Hiland cottage cheese.
(I tend to use your list but add or remove to meet our uses.)  Thanks again! ”

Kimberly, thanks for sharing! I love to save money for my family, but I especially love to hear that it is truly helping other families.

Remember, if you have a trip to share, or hear of a great deal, let me know. I can’t catch them all. :) Send me an e-mail here.
