My CVS Shopping Trip: 2/24

Today was a fun day at CVS. I didn’t feel like I got much but I walked away “getting paid”. I only spent $2.38 for everything pictured above (saved $51). Can you really complain about that?

This is what I got:

  • 1 Colgate Total, $2.99
  • 1 Crest mouth rinse ($3.99 I had a raincheck)
  • 1 Physicians Formula bronzer (marked 75% off! Only $3.75)
  • 6 Milky way bars, $.50 each
  • 3 Cover girl lip gloss, $3.49 -50% off
  • 1 package of jelly beans, $.99
    TOTAL: $24.20

Coupons used:

  • $1 off Colgate
  • $2 off Crest mouth rinse
  • $7 CVS Physicians Formula Coupon
  • (2) Buy 2, get one free milky way bars (subtracted $.99 twice for some reason)
  • (3) $2 Covergirl coupons
    Total Coupons used: $17.98

I used $7 in ECB when means my grand total is only $.21! (actually total is $2.38, because there was $2.17 in tax)

Then I received $12.99 in ECBs! How did you do at CVS? To learn more about CVS make sure you attend my CVS Crash course on March 10th to learn exactly how to do this fun stuff! :)

Do you usually buy the items that are “free” (after both coupons and ECBs)?
